About SportsDataverse (hoopR, wehoop, cfbfastR)

SportsDataverse is a set of free, MIT-licensed packages, including hoopR (men's basketball), wehoop (women's basketball), cfbfastR (college football) and fastRhockey, plus Python and Node.js versions. They load play-by-play, box scores, betting lines and win-probability outputs from a shared data warehouse. The project is led by Saiem Gilani and has been open source since 2021.
