We collect as little as we can.
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, the page you signed up on and your approximate country. Used only to send The Slate. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Forms: what you submit when you list a tool or ask about advertising, so we can reply.
- Analytics: privacy-friendly, cookie-free page analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) with aggregated counts of visits and pages.
- Outbound clicks: when you click through to a site or tool we count the click, the page it came from and your approximate region, without identifying you. We use these totals to report to listed tools and advertisers.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Third parties
Cloudflare hosts the site, stores form submissions and counts visits and clicks. An email service provider sends The Slate.
When you leave for another site, that site's privacy policy applies. Affiliate partners may know that you arrived from DFS Directory.
