Alternatives to Kalshi

People look for a Kalshi alternative for lower fees, different markets or because Kalshi's sports contracts aren't offered where they live: as of November 2, 2026, that's Michigan, Nevada and Washington. A state block on one exchange often reflects a position that covers all of them. Washington's Gambling Commission, for example, says event-contract markets aren't authorized there on any platform, so check your state's rules before you sign up anywhere.

Our picks, and who each one suits

  1. Polymarket (US)

Polymarket US is a CFTC-regulated exchange with taker fees almost identical to Kalshi's, and its App Store listing names Nevada as the only state where trading is unavailable; New York sued it in September 2026.

  2. Novig

Novig is a sports-only CFTC exchange for users 21 and older that charges no fee on pre-game straight trades and lists Arizona, Nevada and Michigan as unavailable.

  3. ProphetX

ProphetX is a CFTC-regulated sports exchange where you can set your own odds; it charges 2% of net gains on straight trades and says it is not operating in Nevada.

  4. Robinhood Prediction Markets

Robinhood sells event contracts from Kalshi and three other exchanges inside its brokerage app; its sports contracts are unavailable in Maryland, Michigan and Nevada and closed to new trades in Ohio and Utah.

  5. DraftKings Predictions

DraftKings Predictions uses your DraftKings login and offers sports contracts only in 17 states without a DraftKings sportsbook, including California, Texas and Florida; Washington gets financial markets only.

  6. FanDuel Predicts

FanDuel Predicts is available in all 50 states and D.C. with a flat fee of 2 cents per $1 of potential payout, but sports contracts are limited to 17 states, not including Washington, Michigan or Nevada.
